PURPOSE

The Tender Administrator is responsible for providing administrative support to business units in researching tender opportunities and the efficient preparation and submission of tender documents.

JOB OUTPUTS

  • Maintain and update company documents, certifications and compliance records ensuring sufficient certified copies are available
  • Monitor tender databases and ensure company status remains compliant
  • Search the tender sites daily for potential RFQ’s & Tenders and recording of tenders identified
  • Assist in preparing, submitting, and tracking of tenders, proposals and expressions of interest
  • Ensure that all tenders and proposals submitted via online system or hand delivered are saved on server
  • Attend site meetings and handle logistics for tender submissions
  • Manage the past projects database and maintain accurate records of submissions with assistance from SLMs and PMs
  • Send weekly tenders and RFQ list to the Business Leadership Team on a Monday
  • Manage postal deliveries, traffic fine processing, and inventory (first aid, fire equipment) stock checks

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • 2–5 years of experience providing administrative support in a sales or tendering environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver’s license.
