PROJECT: APPLICATION FOR ENVIRONMENTAL AUTHORISATION IN TERMS OF THE NATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT ACT (ACT 107 OF 1998) FOR THE PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT RESORT LODGES AND ASSOCIATED INFRASTRUCTURE INCLUDING A LANDING STRIP ON THE EZULU GAME RESERVE WITHIN THE JURISDICTION OF THE MAKANA AND BLUE CRANE ROUTE LOCAL MUNICIPALITIES IN THE EASTERN CAPE PROVINCE.

DECISION ON the APPLICATION: In terms of the National Environmental Management Act (Act 107 of 1998), (“NEMA”), the Department of Economic Development Environment Affairs and  Tourism (“DEDEAT”) has granted the applicant, the eZulu Game Reserve an authorisation to develop Resort Lodges and Associated Infrastructure including a Landing Strip on the eZulu Game Reserve

APPEALS PROCESS

Registered interested and affected parties (“I&APs”) are advised that an appeal to the decision taken by the Department may be lodged in terms of the National Appeal Regulations, 2014 (as amended). Any I&AP who wishes to appeal must also serve a copy of the appeal to all registered I&APs and any Organ of State with interest in the matter.
